2016–2019

The Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNC), founded on 26 October 2011 in al-Qamishli, is an association of representatives of Syrian-Kurdish political parties and members of civil society organizations.

Between 2016 and 2019, we supported the KNC in various projects to make its positions visible within the Syrian opposition and to an interested international public. This focused in particular on topics such as decentralization, federalism and minority rights. Among other things, we organized numerous workshops in which we worked together with the KNC and other opposition groups on a draft for a new Syrian constitution.
